Dosa Sambar | Healthy Dishes

Ingredients: Dosa:-  - 1/2 cup toor dal - 1 cup rice - 2 tbsp chana dal - 1 tbsp Fenugreek seeds (aka methi dana) - 2 glass water - 1 tbsp oil Sambar:- - 1 cup arhar dal - 4 glass water - 1 cup cabbage - 1 cup pumpkin - 2 green chillies - 2 medium sized onions - 2 medium sized tomatoes - 1 cup round bottlegourd - Spice (to taste): 1 tbsp salt, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp garam masala - 2 tbsp Sambar Masala - 1 tbsp mustard seeds - 5-6 garlic cloves - 8-9 curry leaves - Tamarind (imli) Recipe for Sambar: 1. Soak toor dal in water overnight. And dip tamarind in water for 2 hours. 2. Chop all the veggies i.e Cabbage, pumpkin and bottlegourd. 3. Fine chop onions, tomatoes and chillies. 4. Add water to pressure cooker and then add veggies and onions, tomatoes and chillie. 5. Add spices and 1 tbsp oil (this will prevent water from flowing out of the cooker whistle).
