What is Rooting and How to unlock Bootloader of device.

If you want unlimited control of your Android phone then, rooting opens up a world of possibility. Manufacturers and carriers dissuade you from rooting thus if you root your device then your warrant will be void. Also rooting if done incorrectly, can cause irreparable damage to your phone. With rooting you can speed up your processor, remove bloatware, and customize every element of your phone software’s appearance. Thus Rooting your phone is one of the best ways to tap into your Android device’s true potential. What is Rooting? Rooting an Android phone is similar to jailbreaking an iPhone as it allows you to dive deeper into a phone’s sub-system. It will allow you to access the operating system from deep interior to customize just about anything on your Android device. Also you can disable the restrictions that your manufacturer or carrier may have applied. NOTE: Backup your phone’s software before you install. Why would you Root? One of the biggest benefit of rooting is

3D Printing: How it works

3d printing technology is already changing the way of producing objects from tool, toys to clothing. 3d printing is part of process called ‘Additive Manufacturing’ where object is created by adding material layer by layer. Additive manufacturing allows manufacturers to design complex parts for machines, airplanes and cars at fraction of cost and standard means like folding, moulding and sculpting. Now smaller consumer friendly 3-d printers are bringing additive manufacturing to homes and businesses. The first step in 3D printing is to create a blue print of the object you want to print. One can use modelling software like blender to create your design or you can visit websites like ‘Thingiverse’ or ‘Shapeways’ to find objects that are already 3-d modelled by other users. Once the design is finished it is to time to send it to printer. Some printers like MakerBot Replicator 2 have renewable bioplastics in the back of the device almost like a string. When the printer rec

How to enable Developer Options, USB Debugging and Install ADB on Android Device.

There will be times when you will need to enable developer options so that you can root device or perform some other tasks. For whatever reason first of all you will need to enable developer options on Android. These options are not visible and are hidden deep in device because they are designed for developers, who want to test them and make changes that may impact your phone’s performance. So do not play with the developer options unnecessarily, unless you have a specific purpose in mind. How to turn on Developer Options and USB debugging in Android device: 1.   Open device settings and navigate to About Phone. 2. Tap on About Phone and find the Build Number. 3. Now tap seven times on Build Number and the Developer Options will appear on the main page of the Settings. 4. Tap on the Back key to see your new Developer Options. 5. Tap Developer Options. 6. Check to enable USB Debugging. 7. Check to enable OEM Unlocking. How to Install Android SDK tools: Wh

Helio M70: MediaTek first 5G modem to launch in 2019.

With trend towards bringing 5G is rapidly growing and gaining pace,  chip developers are in race to bring these chips in the market ahead of each other.  MediaTek, mobile phone chipmaker announced "Helio M70" which is the first 5G modem by the company. Also it will be available for use next year, therefore smartphones launching next year with this chip will be 5G compatible. This new chip would provide a speed upto 5Gbps. The chip will also support critical carrier features and would be available as a discrete solution. The company is also planning to launch an integrated SoC with a 5G modem but it will have different name than Helio M70 Company recently launched Helio P22 processor, but the company cannot reveal the name of the devices." Chen said. He further, said that the mobile phone makers would themselves revel the name of devices using this processor. For the record MediaTek launched Helio P22 processor last month. “Helio P" chips are known for th

Samsung Gear S4: Smartwatch which monitors your Blood Pressure.

The smartwatch race is heating up, as every manufacturer of wearable are devising ways to bring more health benefits. Samsung is jumping in with more punch packed in its, Gear S4 smartwatch in its bid to compete with the Apple Watch. As the innovations in smartwatch is decreasing so are their sales, so there is urgent need of innovations to boost the sales. It seems Samsung understood this problem and its expected that its upcoming smartwatch will receive advanced health tracking features, a new operating system, and even a new name. There are news that Samsung Gear S4 is going to feature blood pressure monitoring, which will compete with Apple iWatch. They way the watch is going to measure blood pressure is measuring 'Heart Load Factor'. This will done with an optical sensor, collecting bio-data from your pulse, via your fingertip. Then linear regression analysis is applied and a set of baseline medical-grade blood pressure results to guesstimate your blood pressure.

5G Era: How it will affect world around Us.

Gone are the days when we used to have slow 2G networks and there was need of faster network. Then came 3G followed by 4G network. With the introduction if 4G world became united as people became united with video streaming, app stores, programmatic auctions and an entry point into the world of virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence. As inter-connectivity is increasing day by day, we are on verge if time where 4G would not be enough to fulfill our hunger of speed. So there is need of 5G network which will bring next level of connectivity in the world. This next level of connectivity could be explained by imagining yourself in in an autonomous vehicle and calling up Amazon Alexa to prep for dinner. A holographic display appears on your dashboard and you set your ingredients based on your diet preference, and they are packed by robot when you reach shop to pick up your ingredients. This may seem science fiction but with 5G this will be the realist

Airbag Helmets - New Innovation for safety.

We all familiar with Airbags, as these are used in our cars for protection in case of accidents. How would you feel if you know that now you can have an 'Airbag Helmet'? Yes it is true, three students form IIT Roorkee have made it possible. What is Airbag Helmet? This looks like a collar worn around a neck and having multiple sensors embedded in it. These several sensors are capable of sensing various factors such as lean angle, acceleration and much more. The founder of the helmet claims that it inflates within 100 milliseconds before an impact takes place. How does it work? The inflatable helmet comes with multiple sensors that helps it ti inflate 300 milliseconds before the impact takes place. The airbag opens to make a helmet like structure around the skull. It is a kind of cushion that provides 4 time more protection as compared to normal helmets used these days. As the helmets used these days prevents skull from external injuries but not from internal

Mobile Airbag Case: Case that acts as Airbag to Protect your Phone.

Each year price of smartphones is increasing and with this there is always a fear of accidental breakage of phone. Even when you buy costliest cases then also there is fear of internal damage due to shock. To avoid this a German engineering student has invented a 'mobile airbag' case. This is a prototype design that automatically deploys when a phone is dropped. There are lot of cases that protect your device from water damage or shock but they are too bulky and make your device difficult to carry. This technology is called as AD (active damping) phone case, this technology has already been patented. This case detect when your handset is in a free fall. It then releases springs to make the phone bounces on the surface, absorbing the impact. This unique idea was innovated by Philip Frenzel, who is 25-year-old student from Aalen University in Germany. He realized this idea after breaking his phone by throwing his jacket over a Bannister. The impact cased internal electronic
